Solomon's Lodge, A & F.M. papers : records, n.d., 1771.

Solomon's Lodge, A. & F.M., founded in 1735, is the oldest Masonic lodge in Georgia, and the second oldest in the United States. The papers in this collection are photographs of originals in the Grand Lodge Library, Freemansons' Hall, London. Included are the Rules or By-Laws of Solomon's Lodge, n.d., signed by members of the Lodge. The second item, a letter from William Young in Savannah to "Worshipful Brother," dated June 11, 5771 (1771) requests that Noble Jones be appointed Grand Master in Georgia. William Young was Worshipful Master of Solomon's Lodge. 2 p. ALS.
